## About the city

Liege is the largest city in French-speaking Wallonia, located where the Meuse and Ourthe rivers meet and with a history stretching back two thousand years. Highlights include Place Saint-Lambert with the Prince-Bishops' Palace, the 374 steps of Montagne de Bueren, the Grand Curtius museum and Santiago Calatrava's futuristic Guillemins station.
